On this page you find the latest firmware upgrade for ComfoWay V1 and V2 devices.
V2.3 (b1)
V2.3 upgrade file can be used on all ComfoWay starting V2.0 (the version of your ComfoWay is shown on the ‘System configuration’ page)
In case you have a V1.x and want to upgrade to V2.x, then please contact us in order to get the correct image and instructions.
The V2.3 configuration is based on protocol/library version 1.18
Upgrade package: V2.3 (b1) – EN-NL-DE
Change history
This version 2.3 b1 implements (over V2.2 b2):
– adds a German language interface option
– solves an issue where the Boost and Auto command behaves erratically in certain cases
– other minor improvements
Version 2.2 b2 implements (over V2.1):
– a solution for a problem of delayed commands in case of a high KNX bus load
– support for modbus
– improved graphs with step plots for volume and adjusted rolling plot for temperatures
– other minor improvements
Upgrade procedure
– Save the firmware file locally on your PC
– Backup your current device configuration
(KNX & SPC configuration -> Utilities -> Backup)
– Restore the firmware upgrade package file
(KNX & SPC configuration -> Utilities -> Restore -> point to firmware package) & wait for reboot.
– Verify the Alerts to confirm proper upgrade.
– Reboot once more for all changes to take effect.
Note: it is not advised to restore your backup: this will undo certain minor changes of the upgrade.
If you notice such minor issue after restoring, you can redo the firmware upgrade.
V1.3
V1.3 configuration files can be used on all ComfoWay starting V1.0 (the version of your ComfoWay is shown on the ‘System configuration’ page.
The V1.3 configuration is based on protocol/library version 1.08
Upgrade package: V1.3 – English – Command Groupaddress range 6/0/x
