SPCX10 add-on package: Siemens SPC X10 to KNX

Description

The SPCX10 package is an add-on package for the Logic Machine family of products.

The package implements the X10 protocol of the Siemens SPC series of alarm systems. It upgrades your Logic Machine to be used as KNX-gateway to one or more SPC intrusion detection units of Siemens. Due to the SPC panel limitations imposed by regulatory constraints (VdS, INCERT, …), the X10 protocol is unidirectional: from the SPC panel to your KNX installation.

Note: if you need a biderectional communication (eg Arm the intrusion detection from KNX), then simply activate the SMS gateway from the KNXlogic package on your Logic machine, to issue commands from your KNX (over SMS) to your SPC panel.

It requires that your Siemens SCP unit has a RS232 X10 interface. Use a RS232-LAN of RS232-WiFi module if your SPC panel is not near your Logic Machine to transfer the RS232 from the SCP to the Lgic Machine over the LAN.

The gateway makes all X10 building commands from the SPC available.
